Two hunters are invited to the remote jungles of the Southern Yucatan of Mexico to hunt Ocellated turkeys. This trip is for 7 days/6 nights and includes trophy fees for one Ocellated turkey per hunter.

All meals, guides, lodging in your own wall tent, full camp staff, Jeep transport. Delicious meals include the game harvested in camp along with local favorites along with plenty of bottled water and cold beer. This trip can be scheduled from the end of March thru Mid-May of 2019 or 2020.

This adventure begins on a Sunday and will conclude on the following Saturday. You will be transported deep into the jungles that border Guatemala, Belize, and Mexico. This zone is part of one of the largest biomass areas in the world, containing tropical forest ranging from high canopy to low bush. Over 400 species of birds call this area home, which is more than the USA and Canada combined.

Walled tent camp or bungalows will be your home for the week. This very remote camp is well staffed with a cook, waiter, and guides. Camp is powered by generators, propane stoves, coolers and a fleet of rugged Jeeps.

Each morning you will be up early with your guide hunting under the vast jungle canopy for Ocellated Turkey, and you have the option to pursue a variety of Jungle fowl, including Bracket deer, Agouti, Coatimundi, and other unusual species.

Afternoons are good for a siesta and cool dip in the stream. Then you'll be back to the jungle for your afternoon hunt.

Not Included:

Overnight before and after in Campeche City and meals in town (approximately $80 USD per night). Tips to guide and staff (approximately $500 each USD). Optional shotgun rental of Benelli or Beretta guns with ammunition $150 USD. Required license Fee $350 USD. Dip and pack/export fee $550 USD (additional animals $125 USD).

Many Jaguars, Ocelots and other rare animals such as Tapir and American crocodiles inhabit the region. This area, rich in Mayan history was also a major producer of Gum in the late 30s and 40s (Yes, the original Wrigley's chewing gum came from here).
