IMPERIAL GERMAN REGIMENTAL STEIN FROM THE 2nd
ARTILLERY REGIMENT. Stein measures 9 1/2" in height and is created in the shape of an artillery shell with a gold luster timing fuse at the top. The body of the stein reads "Erinnerung an meine Dienstzeit." around the base. The top reads "2. Fuls Art. Rgt. 2. Comp. 98/1900 Wletz". The upper central portion reads "Gefrt. Joh. Kress". The central portion also vividly depicts 3 different artillery scenes. The base has a lithophane that shows a soldier talking to a tavern maid. The base has a pewter ring & porcelain top. The interesting domed lid resembles an artillery shell with a brass timed fuse at the top. CONDITION: light wear overall. The gold luster at the top is about 60% complete.
