BAYONETS.
1) Model 1928 Finnish bayonet w/ 11 3/4" fullered blade. Bayonet is marked on left ricasso "FISKARS". Distinctive Finnish crossguard which is unmarked. Smooth hardwood grips fastened by two rivets. Rivets are peened on both sides of handle. Birdshead pommel; latch button appears to be replacement. Ribbed sealed scabbard is unmarked. CONDITION: bayonet metal parts are finished bright w/ wear & light oxidation; areas of patina. Grips are well worn replacements. Black finished scabbard w/ wear, scratches & handling marks.
2) Model 1928 Finnish bayonet w/ 11 7/8" fullered single edged blade. Blade is marked on left ricasso "Hackman & Co". Distinctive Finnish style crossguard is marked on left side w/ tiny illegible stamping. Handle is marked on top w/ 2 S#s, one is lined out. Smooth walnut appearing grips retained by 2 flush rivets. All metal is finished bright except latch button. Unmarked blued, grooved, steel scabbard. CONDITION: metal work shows scattered sm. spots of oxidation & handling marks. Crossguard has noticeable gray discoloration. Well worn grips w/ scattered handling marks. Scabbard retains 80% arsenal rework finish.
3) French Lebel quadrangular bayonet w/ 20 1/2" blade marked "C&P" on left side. Crossguard has S# & brass handle. Steel scabbard. CONDITION: metal parts turning gray w/ light wear & spots of oxidation. Brass handle turning patina w/ sm. handling marks throughout. Scabbard is gray & patina.
4) 4 French Model 1936 spike bayonets w/ approx. 11 1/2" blades for the MAS bolt action rifle. Handles have oil holes. CONDITION: bayonets have very light wear & lg. degree of non reflective finish.
5) Danish Model 1889 Krag w/ 8 3/4" fullered single edged blade. Blade is marked on left ricasso w/ faint maker's logo & "WK&C". Marked on left side of crossguard "crowned 91". Pommel has "9R.928" unit mark & 3 S#. Checkered brown leather grip panels retained by 2 rivets. Brown leather scabbard w/ metal tips. CONDITION: bright metal bayonet has wear, scratches & scattered spots of oxidation. Leather grips have considerable wear. Scabbard has wear & scuffing.
6) British L1A4 w/ 7 7/8" fullered blade. All metal bayonet is marked on grip "L1A4" w/ S#. Gray non reflective blade; balance of parts dull black; also includes original sealed pouch marked "SCABBARD DEC1990 DON B54 RAOC PRIMARY PACK". CONDITION: bayonet in very good condition w/ light high point wear.
7) Spanish 1969 CETME. 8 3/4" Contoured single edged blade marked "I.N.I. TOLEDO"& "SB" logo. Also marked w/ Spanish crest. Green plastic scabbard. CONDITION: bayonet & scabbard in very good condition.
8) Austrian Model 1895 Carbine w/ 9 3/4" fullered blade having cutting edge at top of blade. Left ricasso has Imperial eagle. Marked on right ricasso is "OEWG". Crossguard has sight mounted on top. Smooth walnut grips. Steel scabbard. CONDITION: bayonet has bright blade; balance of metal turning gray w/ light oxidation. Grips have light wear & handling marks. Scabbard has remnants of green flaking paint & balance turning patina w/ scattered scratches.
9) Belgian Model 1965 FAL having 7 3/4" blade w/ 5" false edge. Crossguard has unusual prong flash hider. Marked only w/ S# on right side of pommel. Ribbed composite grips. Steel scabbard w/ non matching S#. CONDITION: bayonet & scabbard have moderate wear & thinning finish.
10) Norwegian 1894 w/ 8 1/4" single edged blade. Blade is marked on both sides w/ Norwegian property marks. Locking button under forward edge of grip. Smooth walnut grips w/ single retaining screw. Steel scabbard. CONDITION: bayonet has been sharpened w/ parallel grind marks visible on blade. Metal has wear & handling marks. Grips have wear & extensive cracks repaired w/ tiny pins. Scabbard has arsenal rework finish w/ scattered dents & scratches.
11) Austrian Model 1895 bayonet w/ 9 5/8" fullered single edge blade w/ inverted cutting edge. Blade is marked on right ricasso "F.G.GY." indicating Hungarian mfg. Grips are not present. Steel scabbard. CONDITION: metal has wear, oxidation & scratches. Blade of bayonet is slightly bent. Blue steel scabbard has wear, dents & scratches throughout. (02-16813-10/RW). $700-900.
