CORPS & NAVY COATS.
1) EARLY WWII HEAVY WINTER COAT AS USED BY MARINES IN ICELAND IN 1941. Lined w/ lambs wool. 2 Piece construction w/ rubberized liner. Marked on inside of left pocket lining "Quartermaster Dep't & US Marine Corp". Button closure w/ leather tabs. CONDITION: coat has light wear w/ staining. Lambswool liner has good appearance. Missing 2 top buttons on front.
2) EARLY PATTERN KHAKI COLORED US MARINE CORP RAIN COAT. Closed w/ 4 over-center buckles. Coat is ID'd inside w/ "HF Nelson" "John J. Ritacc" "C.M. Doyle" stencilled in white ORD. 1. CONDITION: coat has extensive staining w/ moderate wear. Notable open repair by left pocket. Repair tape is no longer present.
3) OD GREEN RUBBERIZED FABRIC RAIN COAT. 5 Button closure; 4 lg. buttons on right side w/ smaller button on lower left. Marked underneath cape "H.E. Harper". US Marine Corp marked on rain flap, stamped & dated w/ mfg. CONDITION: coat is in good condition w/ light wear & staining.
4) BLACK CAPE RAIN COAT. Made w/out sleeves. Tag inside below collar is marked "Hoogman Rubber Company New York". Coat is otherwise unmarked. CONDITION: coat has light to moderate wear, scuffing, loose stitching, staining & sm. tears. (02-15903/RW). $800-1,200.
