The M1A is the civilian mfg. semi-auto evolution of that rock solid battle rifle. Barrel is terminated w/ standard 3" flash hider/front sight/bayonet lug. Brown composite stock & bbl. shroud. Bkfld Prec. "U.S. Property" marked scope mt. Rear sight is the popular windage & elevation adjustable, "NM" marked target peep. Correct trapdoor buttstock w/ folding shoulder support/buttplate. Matte black receiver finish. Notes provided by consigner say: "…this is a very special rifle. Built for a 10th Special Forces Sniper by Thomas Knapp & Mitch Mateiko of Brookfield Precision Tool, who jointly developed the XM25 Sniper Rifle System...." MAGS: 1-20 rd. CONDITION: stock shows signs of normal usage. Finish on receiver & barrel are consistent & complete w/ little wear. Barrel is speckled w/ what appears to be a storage earned patina w/ similar speckling on stock forend. Bore is shiny w/ very strong rifling.
