If your dream hunt is to harvest an Alaskan Grizzly, this is your chance! This hunt takes place in the famous Koyukuk River region where grizzlies grow big. In fact, 75% of the grizzlies taken with Alaska Koyukuk Guides make the record books.
The Yukon-Koyukuk drainage has consistently produced more record book trophy moose, grizzly, and wolf than any other area in Alaska. The hunt originates in the village of Galena, AK and daily commuter flights are available from Fairbanks or Anchorage. For May-June or September hunts, you will depart Galena in an outboard powered skiffs to base camp. These same boats are then used to access the hunting areas on the main rivers. Also, outboard jet-powered Jon boats will be used to access adjacent small streams. Camps are canvas wall tents, or depending on the area, log cabins. Food is home cooked by your guide or freeze dried if spiking in the hills for bear. Available Dates: Spring or Fall 2019 (to be cleared with outfitter)
Upgrades available: • Hunt can be upgraded to include wolf & moose for additional
trophy fees during fall season only. • Additional hunters can be added at full price.
