SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 Ga. / 28 Ga. S# 684. Luciano Bosis, after working for Perazzi 1971-1976, opened his own shop in 1977 and has built a reputation for making some of Italy’s finest bespoke guns. The Queen grade is a superior quality shotgun with H&H style lockwork. The lockplates follow the Beesley design that dates from the 1880s. Double under lug locks, selective ejectors, articulated front trigger. The coin finished action has full coverage vine type foliate engraving that extends to the forearm irons and breech end of the ribs. The finely executed engraving was designed by master engraver Steffans Pedratti. Long tang trigger guard has gold inlaid serial number “684”. Each bbl. set has its individual splinter forearm with Anson fasteners. The stock is straight hand with tear drop points. The entire stock set is made from the finest quality European walnut having eye catching orange tones with vivid dark streaking, gloss finish and hand checkering. LOP: 14 3/4" to a skip line checkered butt. DAC: 1 3/8". DAH: 2 3/16". Neutral cast. BARRELS: both are 29" chopper lump with concave ribs and steel beads. No 1: 20 Ga 2 3/4". Bore diameter: R - .629, L - .629. Choke constriction: R - .012, L - .028. Minimum wall thickness: R - .033, L - .034. No 2: 28 Ga 2 3/4". Fixed IC & M chokes.
