Expectations of hunters:
1) Bring another hunter and extend the hunt if feasible
2) Hunt from the outfitter's price list after harvesting donated trophies if additional game are
available and tip generously
A donation may not be combined on another hunting trip unless outfitter agrees prior to auction.
Banquet Exhibitor Dan Everson, owner of Cayuse Outfitting, was our 2025 Outfitter of the Year and has once again donated this week-long, all-inclusive, black bear/wolf combo in Idaho’s Bitterroot Mountains.
Dan has owned and operated this 370-square mile US Forest Service lease for over 20 years. Idaho has an overabundance of large predators, and this package gives hunters the option to take a second trophy, including a second black bear, a wolf, or a mountain lion with no trophy fee! Hunter may also add a youth hunter for a reduced rate of $1,500.
Dan offers two hunting camps, one is accessible by vehicle, and a second camp is backcountry, accessible by horses. This hunt will be backcountry with horses. Bear hunting will usually be over baits, but could also be spot and stalk, and wolves will be pursued by spot and stalk and/or electronic calling.
Hunters are responsible for airfare to Missoula, MT airport where outfitter will transport hunters to parking area near camp. Alternatively, hunters may drive to Kamiah ID where outfitter will meet them and the parties will drive own vehicles to parking area, about eight miles from camp, which will be accessed by horses.

Included: Seven days and six nights (six hunting days), airport transfers if needed, mountain lodging, all meals, guide service - including station baiting, trophy caping, and field prep

Available upgrades: Second predator species (or additional black bear) for no trophy fee, additional hunter ($3,500), and youth hunter ($1,500)
