Hunting South Texas Hogs at Independence Ranch
Would like to welcome a new donor for Montana SCI. This is a 3day/2night wild hog hunt of unlimited size and number of hogs for 2 hunters. That also includes any 2 predators/varmints per day including bobcat, coyote, fox, possum, armadillo, raccoon, rabbit, ringtail cat, or mountain lion. Bowhunters love hunting this “Honey hole” with a very high success rate.
Location: Independence Ranch Waelder, Texas( approx. 75 miles east of San Antonio)

Arrival & departure: Open all year round
Duration of hunt donation: 3 Days/2Nights
Actual hunting days: 3 also includes Night sessions

OTHER NOTES:
• It is MANDATORY that ranch skinners handle cleaning of harvested animals at a cost of $1.00/pound ($50.00 minimum per hog) which includes retrieval from field/chilling or freezing/packaging into your cooler. Most hogs are $60-$90 total.
• You can start your 3 day hunt any day EXCEPT –Fridays. Check in is around 12:30 on first day of hunt not day before booking date. Checkout is before 1:00PM on the third day.
• The outfitter prefers at least a.270cal rifle as they believe .223/6.5mm are inferior for taking hogs successfully.
• Not included costs are gratuity to lodge staff, Gun Rentals and Ammo (available if needed), Guide/Staff Fee of $100.00/Hunter. All not included services are to paid in CASH Only at ranch and time of service.
