'Featherlight', an American made slide-action repeating shotgun chambered for 2-3/4" 12 Gauge shotshells, and manufactured circa 1968 in Ithaca, NY. Shotgun features a blued finish, a 18-1/4" round barrel, red fiber optic front sight, the fixed choke measures 'Cylinder' with a drop-in gauge (barrel stamped 'Modified'), five-round 2/3 length tube magazine, smooth curved trigger, bottom eject, single action bar, serrated bolt release at the front of the trigger guard, and a checkered push-button safety on the trigger guard. The walnut furniture consists of a semi-pistol grip shoulder stock with press checkering at the wrist, press checkered slide handle, factory red ventilated rubber recoil pad with white and black spacers, 14" length-of-pull, and black plastic Ithaca grip cap. The receiver displays limited coverage of dog and waterfowl scenes roll stamped on both sides. The original blued finish retained is approximately 88% with light handling blemishes, contact wear from the slide handle, and minor edge wear. Metal displays no deformation, but there are scattered oxidative speckling and spots. The action is smooth and crisp, and the bore shows oxidation. The furniture wood is in fair condition with handling blemishes, and a crack on at the wrist on the shoulder stock. Shotgun include an extra 2-3/4" 12 Gauge 26" barrel, with a front sight, and accepts choke tubes ('Improved Modified' installed). The extra barrel also shows some oxidation.
Condition is NRA Fair.
