JC Higgins Model 20 pump shotgun, #NSNV, 12 Ga., 19” barrel, chambered for 2 ¾” shells, full choke, with plain wood stock and rubber recoil pad. Shotgun is in fair condition overall, showing traces of the originalfinish. The bore is good, action is good, pump arm shows a repair with a crude weld on the left side requiring a section of the wood to be removed. The trigger guard has been modified to a “Fitz trigger”, and the stockhas been marked “HILDAGO CTY TX 31 SHERIFF” on the right side in 3/8” stamps. This gun has obviously seen plenty of use in the field. Sheriff Martino was the Sheriff of Hildago taming the west back in the day, andthis gun should be further researched. (C&R/PPT) Est. $100-200
