Navajo Still Life Acrylic Painting, Jimmy Yellowhair, Signed and Framed. Estimated circa 1960s. Measurements: frame 22.5X19 inches, picture 19.5X15.5 inches. "Jimmy Yellowhair is a Navajo artist from Houck, Arizona where he lives on the reservation in a hogan, which is a primary, traditional dwelling of the Navajo people. He paints ceremonies and chronicles everyday life on the reservation. Exhibitions of Jimmy Yellowhair?s work includes the Gambaro Museum in Washington, D.C., the Mid-America Arts Center in Wichita, Kansas and London." Painting depicts native pottery, beads and basket against natural background. Vivid signature can be seen on bottom left corner with trademark symbol. Several light white transfer marks can be seen throughout canvas. Overall the painting in good condition.

BIDDING
Bidding advances shall be regulated by the auctioneer and shall be at his discretion. He or she has the right to refuse any bids. Some of the items offered at auction are subject to a reserve. A reserve is a minimum price agreed upon by the consignor of the property and the auction house. The auctioneer may bid on behalf of the consignor in order to reach the minimum sale amount. If the minimum amount is not reached, the auctioneer may pass the item. The auctioneer reserves the right to bid on behalf of clients and vendors, but shall not be liable for errors or omissions in executing instructions to bid. All bidders are required to complete the registration and obtain a bidder number. All registration cards contain the full name, address, phone number, and e-mail address. PAYMENT

If an invoice remains unpaid for longer than this time, the item(s) will be considered forfeited and ownership of property will revert back to Affiliated Auctions. When bidding through Proxibid.com, the stored payment method will be automatically processed at the end of the auction.
