“JUST PASSING BY” S/N (43/75) LIMITED EDITION GICLÉE CANVAS by JOHN BANOVICH depicts a kudu deep in the brush startling a bird and measures 15”x20” (21”x28” framed). Here’s what John says about this piece, “I have spent a good portion of my life over the last two decades in Africa on safari. I have witnessed epic events, as well as quiet but beautiful moments…and often the subtle are the most profound. It always intrigues me how animals seem to have a keen interest in each other. Ethologists sat that young animals often play together (with each other or other species) to learn skills they need for surviving as an adult. But I love when mature animals show their playful side. This kudu is very interested in watching this lilac breasted roller. Does he have a reason to fly so close to the bull kudu, or is he just passing by?"
