The rear sight is a square-notch adjustable for elevation dovetailed into the barrel. The receiver is grooved for an optic, though none is present. grip/stock configuration & condition: the furniture is two piece wood with a straight comb, semi-pistol grip, smooth forend, and a smooth metal buttplate. The buttplate has light edge wear. The furniture only shows a few light drag lines mainly on the left side of the forend. There are no chips or cracks. The lop measures 13. 25" from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The furniture rates in fine condition. type of finish: bluedfinish originality: originalbore condition: the bore is bright and the rifling is sharp with some stubborn copper fouling at the muzzle.
