“Job Well Done” Bronze by Sandra Van Zandt
If you’ve ever had a hunting dog then you know how they become a part of your life and are forever loyal. This exquisite bronze evokes that bond and loyalty. World renowned artist Sandra Van Zandt established her reputation with sculptures of hunting dogs, game birds and bald eagles, many of which can be found in cities, museums and both corporate and private art collections throughout the United States. She was recently commissioned to sculpt several historic monuments, one of which was "The Spirit of Naval Aviation," a salute to all naval aviators in the 20th century. This heroic sized sculpture was unveiled at the Smithsonian's Air & Space Museum in Washington, D.C. and permanently enshrined at the entrance of the National Museum of Naval Aviation in Pensacola, Florida. “Job Well Done” is 14” x 16”, mounted on a beautiful rotating base of green marble and wood. It weighs approximately 43 pounds. The sculpture is signed in the bronze by the artist and numbered 4 of 10. We thank Dr. Pat Amoroso for this 100% donation.
