DETAILS: Hand Crafted Sterling Silver Earrings. 2 1/2" x 1/2", Part of his Palu Macan Collection
Just as in the original days of this ancient technique, pieces of the Palu collection are still hand-hammered. Husband and wife teams of artisans partner to create the jewelry, with the wife holding the piece over the fire to soften the material and the husband hammers the metal to create the Palu finish. The intense creative process takes on the nuances of their relationships as their daily emotions come through in their work.
