12& #34; clip-point blade with 4& #34; false edge, 1.375& #34; wide at ricasso. Marked on obverse ricasso & #34;JOHN MIDDLETON/CAST STEEL/SHEFFIELD& #34; German silver mounts with round stag grip. Red morocco leather scabbard with German silver tip.
Very good condition overall with original polish on the blade some staining. Some very minute nicks along the sharpen edge. German silver guard has a slight bend to one side. The scabbard has some scuffs and two areas of missing leather. Tip with nice untouched tarnish. The pommel cap missing.
