K43 Walther ac45 Semi-Automatic Rifle with Scope and Mount, #2640a, 8x57mm cal., 21.7" barrel, blued finish, laminated stock with cupped buttplate, blade front sight with reproduction hood, and tangent rear sight with "U"-notch, graduated to 1200 meters. Includes steel cleaning rod, original WWII German leather sling, and one 10-round detachable magazine. Magazine is stamped "gcb/(illegible stamp)/K43/(Eagle) WaA892". Topped with a high quality reproduction mount and original scope. Scope is marked "Gw ZF 4/73120/ddx/(Blue Triangle)K43" and is made by Voigtlander & Sohns. Scope is in very good condition, showing a few areas of light rust patina to the tube, both adjustment knobs turn freely; optics are clear and bright. Includes a reproduction rubber eye piece; in excellent condition. Reproduction mount with rings is marked "(Eagle)359". Rifle is marked on left side of the receiver with Nazi eagle firing proof, "(Eagle) 359/K43/ac/2640a". Right side of the barrel and left side of the receiver cover are both stamped with "(Eagle)359" inspection stamps. There are faint outlines of inspection stamps on right side of the buttstock and partially visible stamp on the underside of the wrist. Left side of the buttstock with a partially visible "(Eagle) 359" proof. Matching number on the bolt carrier. No visible import marks. Condition overall is fine, showing normal operating wear to the receiver, and brown toning to the trigger guard. Bolt carrier shows possible cold bluing and cleaning. Wood has been lightly sanded and stained over intermittent old handling marks, now in fine condition. Action operates smoothly. Bore is bright with excellent, well-defined rifling.
