Qing or Ching Dynasty Hu Vase with red glazed finish and Kangxi period (1662-1722) mark. In very good condition, light craquelure to finish near lip of vase. Purple iridescent hue shines through in certain areas. Very nice example. Has a height of 12 inches, belly is approximately 7x7 inches, and weight of 6.4 pounds. This lot has a reserve.

BIDDING
Bidding advances shall be regulated by the auctioneer and shall be at his discretion. He or she has the right to refuse any bids. Some of the items offered at auction are subject to a reserve. A reserve is a minimum price agreed upon by the consignor of the property and the auction house. The auctioneer may bid on behalf of the consignor in order to reach the minimum sale amount. If the minimum amount is not reached, the auctioneer may pass the item. The auctioneer reserves the right to bid on behalf of clients and vendors, but shall not be liable for errors or omissions in executing instructions to bid.
