Hunt trophy whitetail deer during muzzleloader, archery and rifle season in southeast Kansas, arguably one of the best areas in the world to hunt free-chase trophy whitetails. Year after year Horseshoe Hill Outfitters continues to put Kansas bucks in the record book. Their hunters average in the 150s on trophy whitetail taken over the last five years with 60-70% shot opportunity. Even more impressive is the fact that in the past four years their hunters have taken 3 200”-plus monsters. They hunt on over 15,000 acres in four different counties surrounding the town of Garnett in Unit #11. Bob McConnell has contributed more than $15,000 to the RMEF’s Partners in Conservation program.

The auctioneer has final authority on the amount bid for any item and/or the identity of the purchaser of any item. By bidding on an item or service, you are entering into a legal binding contract to purchase that item or service. All sales are final.

Firearms
All firearms will be shipped from RMEF headquarters in Missoula, MT to an FFL (Federal Firearms License) dealer of the winner/buyer’s choice. It is the responsibility of any raffle winner or auction buyer to make arrangements with the FFL and to know the local firearms laws. Before taking possession, the winner/buyer will be required to complete a background check. If for any reason the winner/buyer is not eligible to receive the firearm, it is not the responsibility of RMEF to provide an alternate or to issue any refunds.
Hunts and Trips
Additional expenses not included in donated hunts and trips may include but are not limited to gratuity, taxes, taxidermy, transportation, meat packaging and processing, and shipping.
Tax Deductions/IRS
The market value or estimated fair market value will be provided for each auction item. IRS rules permit a charitable contribution for the amount paid in excess of fair market value. Only that part of the payment made with the intention of making a gift and for which the taxpayer receives no consideration qualifies as a contribution. Please consult your tax advisor regarding the tax deductibility of any item purchased at auction.
