KENTUCKY TYPE O/U PERCUSSION RIFLE SHOTGUN.

Cal. 44 / 12 Ga. NSN. The 35 1/2" two rnd. bbl. set has top rifle bbl. fitted w/ "U" notch rear & brass blade front sights. Hickory ramrods are held by 2 plain pipes & tailpipe on each side. Back spring percussion locks are unmarked. Left hammer w/ long nose extension to engaged nipple on lower bbl. Triggers are dbl. set & front trigger will fire both locks. Buttstock of maple w/ some curl is brass mounted. Trigger guard has finger spur & curl forming grip. Crescent buttplate has 3" return. A shaped patchbox w/ circular cover is on right side of stock & sm. cheekpiece on left has brass edge guard and inverted crescent moon on face. A German silver plate on toeline is punch marked w/ the initials "CWR"(?). CONDITION: fair to good. Bbls. w/ many vice marks are mostly gray to brown patina. Stock w/ old finish has more wear through at grip. Brass is nicely toned. Rifle bore very dark, some rifling evident. Shotgun bore pitted. Locks & triggers operable.
