Cal. 70. S# NSN. Bbl. 39.5”. 55” overall, full curly maple American stocked trade gun circa 1810. Smoothbore British proofed barrel, brass furniture, large pierced sideplate, early script “Ketland & Co” lock. Accompanying rifle is copies of documents including discharge of Thomas Whitebird, Dakota Territory. I am not sure what the association of Thomas Whitebird and this rifle could be. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: small file of copied research. CONDITION: fair to good overall, as reconverted back to flint from percussion, 10” professional inset repair to stock on right side.
