KHANGELA AFRICAN SAFARIS: 7-Day Sable, Bushbuck and Bush Pig Hunt for One Hunter and One Observer in South Africa
One Hunter and one observer has the chance to join Khangela African Safaris on a 7-day safari in pursuit of one Sable, bushbuck, and bush pig. Also included are one day of fishing and one day of bird hunting for duck and geese.
Your hunt will take place in the Ndlambe District of the Eastern Cape, situated in the Albany Coastal Thicket which is an hour away from the Port Elizabeth International Airport. You will be accommodated at our Coastal Base Camp, Umbono Private Lodge.
This contemporary styled 5-star Lodge is surrounded by expansive lawns which attract a vast array of the resident game who visit at sunset to feed and drink at the waterhole.
This hunting package includes: trophy fees for one Sable, Bushbuck and Bush Pig, 1x1 hunting with a Professional Hunter, tracker and skinner, 7-hunting days, first-class accommodations, all daily rates, meals, daily laundry and ironing, license fees, skinning and field preparations of trophies, transportation to and from Port Elizabeth International Airport and all other services and facilities normally offered on our safaris.
As with all our hunting packages, there is no charge for your day of arrival or day of departure. Prices quoted in US dollars.
Not included in the hunting packages and trophy price are hire of firearm and ammunition, taxidermy, crating and shipping of trophies, any air travel costs and gratuities to staff.
Hunt can be taken in 2024 or 2025.
Additional hunters welcome per current price list and observers at $150/day.

Our mission is to preserve the sport of hunting through education, conservation and the promotion of our hunting heritage. Our members come from a diverse background and have a wide variety of hunting, fishing, outdoor and other interests. But they all have one thing in common-their passion for the outdoors, a love of hunting, a commitment to the responsible management of our national resources, the education of future generations and the responsibilities of being hunter-conservationists. How do we effect change? HSCF has awarded 600 scholarships totaling $2.7 million dollars. We conduct youth outdoor education programs, career training, hunter education and field experiences throughout the year. HSCF has provided over $4 million in grants for hunter-funded conservation initiatives including research, habitat protection, species proliferation, wildlife management, water projects, urban sprawl projects, anti-poaching campaigns and other efforts. AUCTION RULES, TERMS & CONDITIONS
The following rules apply to all bidders participating in online bidding and must be followed unequivocally. All decisions of the auctioneer will be final. The auctioneer and HSCF staff will render decisions on any disputes regarding the bids during the auction.
HSCF supports and promotes hunts and trips from donors who are members in good standing with their local and national hunting associations.
Some items, as components of donated hunts, may or may not be included unless specified. This may pertain to travel expenses to and from destination; hotel and meals before and after the hunt; alcoholic beverages; trophy dipping, packaging and shipping; gratuities and other items. Please review the details for each auction item.
Most hunt donations have specified dates for which they may be taken. Special arrangements other than as set forth in the auction descriptions are expressly between the donor and the auction winner.
Some non-hunt donations may require delivery and installation at your expense.
The winner’s credit card on file will be charged the full amount for each winning bid. At the conclusion of the auction, the winner will receive an email acknowledgment and a paid invoice once payment has been processed.
In the event the winner's card is declined, HSCF will make one (1) attempt to contact the winner to obtain a new form of payment. If the bidder cannot be reached, HSCF may, in its sole and absolute discretion, may offer the item for resale.
HSCF online auction winners will be assessed a Buyer's Premium (5% or $250, whichever is less) on the total winning bid amount for each online purchase. The Buyer’s Premium will be included in the total charged for each item.
Online bidders agree to not interfere or disrupt the standard working function of any aspect of the online auction, via any device, software or other means.
If an active bidder is not satisfied with an aspect of the online auction, the bidder's only recourse is to discontinue use of the online auction system prior to the conclusion of bidding or the purchase of an item.
HSCF reserves the right, for any reason, in its sole discretion, to terminate, change or suspend any aspect of the online auction and/or to void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding, and offer any goods affected by any malfunction for resale.
All disputes regarding HSCF auction items purchased during this auction shall be submitted in writing to HSCF. All disputes and/or requests for refunds must detail and demonstrate proof of dispute. HSCF, at its sole discretion, may or may not approve a requested refund, based on the evidence and information provided. Credits or refunds will not be given, for any reason that is beyond the control of HSCF, if the auction winner is unable to utilize the purchased item with the time frame described in the auction description. Credits will not be provided by HSCF for any item for which the donor and buyer alter or vary the terms set forth for the item in the auction description as provided during this auction.
For any approved credits or refunds, which will be made at the sole discretion of HSCF and are final, the credit or refund will not exceed the amount allocated to HSCF for the specific item, in the case of items for proceeds are to be shared with any third party.
It is the bidder’s responsibility to read the HSCF Disclaimer of Liability for Goods & Services. By bidding on any auction item, whether in person or online, the bidder agrees that they have read, understand and agree to the HSCF Disclaimer of Liability.
