RIFLE WITH SCOPE AND CASE. Cal. 30-06. S# 77351. Bbl. 25". These rifles were last offered in 2004, at that time they retailed for $26,000.00 USD w/ out scope. This fine rifle has monoblock bbls. fitted w/ matted quarter rib which also includes claw scope bases. Rear sight is missing. Steel sourdough front bead is on matching front ramp. Top of bbl. is engraved w/ Danish retailers name & address: “T. DERKSON – GUWEERMAKER TE EEMDIJK”. Sides of monobloc are engraved w/ well cut scroll surrounding rose blossoms. Bottom of monoblock is stamped w/ 1977 Ulm nitro proofs & cal. Left side of rear lump is stamped “KRIEGHOFF ULM”. Case hardened O/U pinless sidelock dbl. Kirsten action features non-automatic safety, hand detachable side locks w/ hidden take down pin in right lockplate, engine turned internals, bushed strikers & dbl. triggers (front set). Action is engraved w/ 80% coverage well cut varying size scroll w/ rose bouquet highlights. Top of triggerplate is engraved “KRIEGHOFF. ULM. PRIMUS”. Steel triggerguard is also scroll engraved. Blued top lever is engraved w/ matching scroll. Lightly marbled European walnut straight grip buttstock measures 15 5/8" over red universal pad (14 7/16" to end of wood) & features closely spaced point pattern checkering at grip & a vacant silver oval along w/ sling eye on toeline which matches that on bottom bbl. Matching 1 piece ejector forend has Deeley type release. Rifle is fitted w/ a B. Nickel 1-4X scope w/ 3 post & crosshair reticle in soldered on claw rings. WEIGHT: 9 lbs. 15 oz. w/ scope. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: brown leather case w/ stitched leather corners lined in burgundy felt. A lg. paper Krieghoff label is in lid. Case contains 2 unmarked oil bottles, 1 rnd. one square & 3 unmarked horn handled turn screws. CONDITION: fine. Bbls. retaining over 90% original blue w/ some silvering on sharp edges. Action retains nearly all of its original coin finish, perhaps w/ some cleaning around bottom. Stocks retain most of their original oil finish w/ a lg. number of light marks, scratches & bumps. Checkering somewhat worn. Pad is relatively new & not well fitted. Scope retains nearly all of reblack after installation of rings w/ subsequent wear on lacquered parts. Optically good, a bit clouded. Bores are very fine. Action is tight. Ejectors are strong & in time. Case leather is fine w/ a few minor rubs. Interior cloth is good. (21-3566/MGM).
