Description: Dirt Road Outfitters' Kansas deer hunts occur on thousands of acres of privately managed land. Our land is known for giant deer. You can expect to hunt deer in the 160 to 200 B&C. We believe firmly in quality over quantity in order to bring our hunters within shooting range of this caliber of deer. This is why at Dirt Road Outfitters, we take only 10-15 hunters per year. Our land borders other properties under strict land management such as Michael Waddell and the Bone Collectors!
Our properties are loaded with alfalfa, winter wheat, corn, soybeans, milo, & other varieties of crops that whitetail deer in Kansas love to browse. These food plots planted, along with the varying terrain that our family farm ground offers, create a unique one of kind deer hunting setup that is ideal for an avid bow hunter or rifle hunter.
With the help of trail cameras and consistent year round scouting, we try to create the perfect Kansas deer hunt for you. Many of our stands are placed in a pinch point or a funnel to help increase the chances that the deer hunter harvests a mature Kansas whitetail deer.
All hunters are lodged privately for their deer hunt on our working farm, and cattle ranch. It is a 1900s farm house that has been in the family for many generations. This is the ideal place to brag about your deer hunt with the guests. All hunters are treated to one home cooked meal in the evening. It is a quiet, clean, & comfortable place to rest.
The hunter arrives in camp the day prior to their hunt and leaves the evening after your 5 day hunt ends. Aerial photos will be reviewed along with deer sightings on the hoof, trail camera photos prior to the hunt. A guide will be assigned to ensure we get the hunter to & from the stand safely & quietly. This guide will also field dress the deer for you & transport it back to our lodge.
