Cal. 12 Ga., 2 3/4". S# 9176. The 30" bbls. are fitted w/ matted concave rib holding 2 brass beads. Rear portion is marked w/ Hunter Arms address. Bbl. flats are stamped w/ S# & grade. Bottoms of bbls. w/ nitro steel logos. Sidelock action w/ rotary bolt has patent markings & S# on water table & features non automatic safety & is fitted w/ Miller selective single trigger w/ selector in safety button. Tang marked "RSL". Action is engraved in usual "3" style w/ sprays of scroll within line & geometric borders highlighting oval vignettes of game on lockplates w/ a pair of quail(?) on left plate & snipe on right. "L. C. SMITH" is engraved at the bottom of each lockplate. S# is on trigger guard tang. Lightly figured American walnut capped pistol grip buttstock measures 13 5/8" over black "Whiteline" pad. Point pattern checkering is at grip & white wood (holly?) diamonds are inlet as drop points. Matching splinter ejector forend w/ patent info on iron has J spring & knurled button release in the guitar shaped escutcheon. Forend has inlet ebony tip. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameter: R .730", L .731". Restriction: R .007" (IC), L .037" (FULL). Min. Wall Thickness: R .030", L .023". STOCK: DAH: 2 1/16". DAC: 1 5/16". LOP: 13 5/8". CAST: approx. 1/4" on. WEIGHT: 7 lb. 10 oz. CONDITION: good as refurbished. Bbls. retaining nearly all of a good quality reblack over some marks & scratches. Action & lockplates cleaned to coin finish over some light pitting mostly on bottom. Stocks w/ nearly all of an old oil finish, checkering somewhat worn. Bores are mostly shiny w/ some very light frosting, evidence of minor dent removal in left bbl. Action is tight. Trigger is operable. Ejectors are slightly out of time. Right striker replaced. Both ejectors trip when only the right bbl is fired. The gun will fire both bbls. when the selector is in the safe position. (22-3303/MGM). CURIO. $500-900.
