HISTORICAL NOTE: The L.C. Smith No. 00 was the entry-grade hammerless sidelock produced by Hunter Arms Co. of Fulton, New York from 1898–1914. Despite being the economical grade, it used the same basic sidelock receiver construction as the higher-grade L.C. Smith guns. Approximately 57,000 No. 00 guns were produced, with 12 gauge accounting for the large majority.
