50MM MORTAR ROUNDS. 1) 6 Imperial Japanese Type 97 fragmentation grenades. Grenades exhibit a black painted finish, with 1 exhibiting a red painted band along the upper rim. Detonator heads are present. 3 detonators retain their brass fuze tubes, with 1 retaining part of its tube, and 2 no longer retaining their fuze tubes. CONDITION: grenades exhibit varying degrees of wear, with most retaining large amounts of their painted finishes, exhibiting wear and flaking from storage and handling. 2) 2 Imperial Japanese Type 99 hand grenades. Grenades exhibit a black painted exterior. Brass detonator heads are present. CONDITION: grenades retain large amounts of their black painted finish, exhibiting some wear and areas of flaking from handling and storage. 3) 3 Imperial Japanese Type 4 "Last Ditch" ceramic hand grenades. 2 exhibit a black painted exterior, with one exhibiting a brown painted exterior. 1 retains its black rubber seal. CONDITION: grenades retain the vast majority of their original painted finishes. Brown grenade exhibits some losses around the rim, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. 4) 6 Imperial Japanese Type 89 50mm rounds. 1 has been converted into a lighter. Rounds exhibit a black painted finish, with a red painted band at the top and a yellow paint at the center. 1 round exhibits a white band towards the base. Rounds are accompanied by an original brass detonator head that appears to be in an original transit container. CONDITION: rounds retain large amounts of their painted finishes, exhibiting areas of wear and some flaking from storage and handling. 5) Danish M.1923 practice grenade. Gray painted exterior with black band at top. Body exhibits 2 2.5mm holes indicating that it is a practice grenade. CONDITION: grenade exhibits wear and some flaking, but otherwise is good overall. 6) 2 US M30 practice grenades. Bodies marked "RFX55". 1 grenade with detonator head. CONDITION: grenades retain large amounts of their finish, exhibiting some wear and flaking. Gray grenade exhibits some oxidation. 7) 2 US practice cluster bomblets. Blued painted exteriors. CONDITION: good, with flaking and some wear. 8) 11 US Mk 2 fragmentation grenades. Grenades exhibit various shades of olive drab painted finishes, with some exhibiting a yellow band around the neck. Grenades are accompanied by 2 cast training dummy grenades. CONDITION: grenades exhibit various degrees of wear and flaking, with most retaining the majority of their painted exteriors.
