20TH CENTURY BAYONETS. 1) Danish Model 1915 w/ 17-7/8" unsharpened T-back blade. Bayonet is marked on right side of crossguard "HAERENS" TOJHUS". Marked on left side w/ S#. Marked at end of pommel "K", and side of pommel has "Crown 21". Smooth walnut grips. Unmarked leather scabbard w/ steel throat & tip. CONDITION: bayonet has light wear & staining w/ tiny spots of oxidation. Grips have light wear & handling marks. Scabbard has wear & scuffing. Metal is turning overall gray. 2) Dutch Model 1895 infantry bayonet. 13-7/8" T-blade. Blade is marked on left side "HEMBRUG" & marked on right side w/ "Crown" property mark. Straight crossguard w/ muzzle ring. Marked w/ S# & "B B". Smooth walnut grip. Pommel has "Crown Z" property mark. One piece leather scabbard & frog. Frog is marked "CW". Scabbard has metal tip. CONDITION: blade has worn thinning blue. Balance of metal has traces of blue turning gray & patina w/ wear. Grips have wear & handling marks. Scabbard has wear, flexing, scuffing & loose stitching.3) Portuguese Model 1895 "KROPATSCHEK" bayonet w/ 18-1/2" Fullered blade. Blade is marked on top in script "STEYR 1886". Property mark on right Ricasso. Straight crossguard w/ finial knob. Smooth walnut grips. Bird's head pommel. Steel scabbard w/ leather frog. Frog is marked on back w/ "L. P." & Portuguese cross. CONDITION: bright metal turning gray has wear w/ spots of fine oxidation. Grips have wear, dents & crack on right grip. Blue steel scabbard turning gray & patina. Frog has wear, scuffing & flexing. 4) Argentine Model 1809 sidearm. 14-3/4" unfullered Bolo style blade. Blade is marked on left Ricasso "WEYERSBERG" "KIRSCHBAUM & CO." "SOLINGEN". Right Ricasso marked "MODELO ARGENTINO" "1909" & "Argentine Crest". Crossguard has alternately facing quillions. Pronounced bird's head pommel marked w/ "RA" in oval. Smooth walnut grips. Steel scabbard w/ green colored leather frog. CONDITION: metal is finished bright w/ light wear & areas of light oxidation. Scabbard has dark arsenal rework phosphate type finish w/ light wear. Frog has moderate wear & flexing. 5) Unmarked Venezuelan 11-3/4" Fullered blade Model 1900 bayonet for the 1871/84 Mauser rifle. Crossguard w/ muzzle ring & curved quillion. Bird's head pommel w/ smooth walnut grips. Blue steel scabbard. CONDITION: metal is finished bright w/ scattered sm. spots of oxidation. Blade is unsharpened. Grips have light wear & handling marks. Scabbard has very lg. degree of arsenal rework dull blue finish. 6) Turkish Model 1890 18" Fullered blade w/ false edge bayonet. These bayonets were produced in Germany by Simpson & Co. & so marked on the left Ricasso in Arabic. Crossguard w/ high muzzle ring & curved quillion. Marked w/ S#. Bird's head pommel is marked w/ "TOUGHRA" Smooth walnut grips. Leather scabbard w/ steel throat & tip. CONDITION: metal has turned overall gray w/ patina. Extensive wear & handling marks. Grips have moderate wear & staining. Scabbard has wear, scuffing & loose stitching. 7) Spanish Model 1941 9-3/4" Fullered Bolo blade bayonet. Bayonet marked on left Ricasso w/ "Crown FN" & "TOLEDO." Marked on right side w/ S#. Straight crossguard. Bird's head pommel. Checkered composite grips. Blued steel scabbard. CONDITION: blade is finished bright w/ light wear & scattered spots of oxidation. Balance of metal is thinning worn blue. Grips have wear & show evidence of arsenal fitting marks. Blue scabbard w/ wear, spots of missing finish & scattered handling marks. 8) Swedish Model 1896 Mauser bayonet. All steel construction bayonet w/ 8-3/8" Fullered false edge blade. Bright blade is marked on left Ricasso w/ "EJ" "Crown & Anchor" & "AB". Right Ricasso has Imperial crown property mark. Straight crossguard w/ unit markings. Knurled tubular handle. Steel scabbard w/ dbl. strap brown leather frog. Frog is marked w/ 3 crowns. CONDITION: blade has wear turning gray. Blued grip has moderate wear & handling marks. Knurling has flattened areas. Scabbard has traces of blue turning gray w/ oxidation & sm. dents. Frog is in good condition w/ light wear. (02-16392-2/RW) $500-800.
