Own a genuine piece of Texas hunting history with this brown Western felt hat personally donated by famed outdoor writer, hunter, conservationist, and storyteller Larry Weishuhn. Known throughout the outdoor world as “Mr. Whitetail,” Larry Weishuhn has spent decades promoting wildlife conservation, hunting heritage, and ethical sportsmanship across Texas and around the world.
This is not simply a hat. It is a longtime companion that has traveled with Larry on hunts across North America, Europe, and Africa. It has appeared in countless photographs, television shows, seminars, and speaking engagements throughout his legendary outdoor career. Larry will even be wearing the hat throughout the convention and during the auction itself.
The hat bears the honest wear and character earned through decades in the field, including a few marks from being used as a steady rest while handgun hunting. As Larry describes it, “it is an old, dear and trusted friend.”
Whether displayed proudly as a collectible or treasured as a symbol of hunting heritage and conservation history, this one-of-a-kind item offers a deeply personal connection to one of the most recognizable figures in the outdoor community.
TWA THANKS LARRY WEISHUHN FOR THIS GENEROUS 100% DONATION.
