ACTION RIFLES. 1) WINCHESTER MODEL 1904 BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 22 S, L, LR. NSN. Bbl. 21". Model 1904 single shot bolt action rifle mfg. by Winchester. Left side of bbl. is marked with Winchester's mfg. information, followed by the model and cal. designations. Metal components exhibit a blued finish, with the bolt assembly being in-the-white. Plain wood straight grip schnabel tip buttstock. Blade front sight with U-notch rear sight. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some wear and thinning, superficial handling marks, and a few spots of oxidation. Bolt exhibits age related discoloration. Bright bore, exhibiting scattered areas of pitting and fair rifling throughout. Stock exhibits scattered marks and minor impressions from storage and handling, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. (23-5543/MLW). 2) WINCHESTER MODEL 04 SINGLE SHOT BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 22 S, L, LR. NSN. Bbl. 21". Model 1904 single shot bolt action rifle mfg. by Winchester. Left side of bbl. is marked with Winchester's mfg. information, followed by the model and cal. designations. Blade front sight with V-notch rear sight. Plain wood straight grip schnabel tip buttstock. CONDITION: metal components retain traces of their original blue finish, exhibiting heavy cleaning overall, with the balance being in-the-white, showing areas of darker discoloration overall. Bright bore, exhibiting consistent mild pitting and fair rifling throughout. Stock exhibits numerous marks, dings, and impressions from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. (23-5547/MLW). 2) WINCHESTER MODEL 1904 SINGLE SHOT BOLT ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 22 S, L, LR. NSN. 21". Model 1904 single shot bolt action rifle mfg. by Winchester. Left side of bbl. is marked with Winchester's mfg. information, followed by the model and cal. designations. Replacement ramped post front sight with replacement square notch rear sight. Left side of receiver has been drilled and tapped at one time. Bolt handle is a homemade replacement. Plain wood straight grip schnabel tip buttstock has been sanded and oiled. CONDITION: metal components retain traces of their original finish, with the balance exhibiting a mottled brown patina overall. Bright bore, exhibiting some scattered spots of pitting and retaining strong rifling throughout.
