Late 70's Ruger Mini-14 Semi-Auto Project Rifle, with scope, #181-01409, .223 cal., 18.5'' barrel, blue finish, original wood stock with buttplate, sling swivels, fixed blade front sight, aperture rear sight, no magazine. Topped with a 3-9x32 scope with duplex reticle. A thin piece of brass sheet metal has been attached underneath the scope base to add as a case deflector. Mfg'd 1977. Condition is good. Metal with some specks and small patches of very light pitting and surface rust. Muzzle and highpoints with some thinning and finish loss. The walls of the magazine well with an added thin layer of a bedding type material. (Although this rifle does not come with a magazine, we did test one out. It fits tight and needed to be pushed from inside the chamber area downward in order to get it out.) Stock shows age and wear consistent with the rest of the rifle, including surface scratches and impressions. Action is good; bore with some light pitting. Scope exterior with thin scratches and scuffs; optics are clear; reticle has become detached in the center and needs repair. Est.: $200-$300. (Modern)
