Late '70s Colt Python Double Action Revolver, #V12095, .357 mag. cal., 6'' vent rib barrel, blue finish, finger grooved black rubber Hogue ''MonoGrip'', fixed ramped front sight and fully adjustable square notched rear sight. Factory lettering on left side of barrel and Colt logo on frame are gold colored. In an original simulated woodgrain box with two-piece styrofoam insert, owner's manual, and other misc. factory paperwork. Approx. 50% of the box end label is present and what is present is fairly worn; a portion of the word ''Python'' is still visible and a few of the serial numbers are visible. (It appears to be the original box.) Mfg'd 1978. Condition is excellent with approx. 99% factory blue showing signs of light range use. Metal with a small amount of scattered light scratches and small handling marks, most noticeable at the bottom left side of the frame and around the cylinder latch. Cylinder with a slight index line. Grips show light wear. Factory lettering is clear. Smooth crisp action, bore is excellent. Box shows creasing and wear, mainly along the edges; end flap with the partial label has become detached from the box but is present. Est.: $1,800-$2,400. (Modern/PPT)
