Title: The Look of the Land by Noelle M. Brooks
Medium: Oil on Canvas | Dimensions: 30” x 40”
Limited Edition Original | Created in Honor of TWA’s 40th Anniversary
Description:
In celebration of the Texas Wildlife Association’s 40th Anniversary, Texas artist Noelle M. Brooks presents The Look of the Land—a breathtaking original oil painting capturing the wild heart of our state. This richly detailed 30”x40” canvas offers a powerful visual tribute to the land, wildlife, and legacy that TWA has championed for four decades.
Beneath the sweeping limbs of native live oaks, prickly pear cactus and wild grasses stretch across the canvas, teeming with life. Northern bobwhite quail rest near a glimmering water source, wild turkeys forage in the distance, and from the shadows, a magnificent white-tailed buck steps into the light—his presence commanding, his antlers glinting with the sun’s glow.
More than just a painting, The Look of the Land is a symbol. The white-tailed deer—emblematic of TWA’s mission—represents the voice this organization gives to Texas landowners, hunters, and wildlife. Through conservation, education, and advocacy, TWA has helped shape the future of Texas lands for generations to come. This work celebrates that success and calls us to continue protecting what we hold dear.
