Lot of Two (2) Boys' Single Shot Rifles: (1) J. Stevens ''Crack Shot'' No. 26 Rifle, NVSN, .22 LR RF cal., 20'' round barrel with missing blade front and dovetailed notched rear sights; steel receiver with large knurled bottom takedown screw and serpentine operating lever marked ''Crack Shot-26'' on left side; plain oil-stained hardwood forend and straight buttstock with steel buttplate. Mfg'd 1912-39. Condition is about good, the metal parts retaining no original finish with an overall gunmetal gray color and clear markings (slight battering at barrel address), the buttstock with what appears to be black electrical tape covering a break repair at wrist and a hole drilled through near toe, perhaps for a leather thong. Action functions as designed; bore is clean with defined rifling. (2) Winchester Model 62A Pump Action Rifle, #146722, .22 S-L-LR RF cal., 23'' round barrel with dovetailed blade front and adjustable open rear; blued tubular cartridge magazine; blued steel receiver with large knurled takedown screw on left side; oil-stained walnut grooved forend slide and straight buttstock. Mfg'd 1942. Condition is good to very good, the metal retaining perhaps 15% blue blending with brown patina, the buttstock with what may be black electrical tape covering a break repair at wrist.
