Lot of Two (2) Winchester Single-Shot Boy's or Varmint Rifles: (1) Model 1900, NVSN, .22 RF cal., 18'' tapered round barrel, with dovetailed post front and notched rear sights, marked with maker's name, address and 1899 patent date, and ''Model 1900 /22 Short & Long'' on top; action has auto extraction and a knurled bolt knob; oil-stained gumwood ''fish-belly'' halfstock has a large knurled screw retaining action in the stock, and no buttplate. Condition is good. Metal is overall gunmetal gray (the barrel with a likely later bluish tone), and good markings. Stock is sound with general use marks, repaired cracks at front, and an added oil finish. Action functions; bore is etched overall but fairly clean with good rifling. (2) Model 58, NVSN, .22 RF cal., 18'' heavy round barrel with post front and notched rear sights, is marked with the maker's name, address and 1898 patent date, ''Model 58 - 22 Short/Long and Long Rifle,'' and ''Winchester/Trade Mark'' on left side; action has auto extraction and a knurled bolt knob; oil-stained gumwood halfstock has a loop triggerguard, a large knurled screw retaining action in the stock, and a checkered hard rubber buttplate with ''Winchester/Trade Mark'' in a circular sunburst-like cartouche. Condition is good. Metal is overall gunmetal gray with scattered discoloration, dings at left side of receiver, and clear markings. Stock is sound with light use marks, a small chip and repaired cracks at front sides; buttplate checkering and logo are quite worn. Action functions; bore is bright with distinct rifling.
