Lot of Two (2) Winchester Single-Shot Boy's or Varmint Rifles: (1) Model 04-A, NVSN, .22 RF cal., blued 21'' heavy round barrel, with dovetailed blade front and adjustable notched rear sights, marked with maker's name, address and 1898 patent date, ''Model 04-A'', ''22 Short, Long/and Long Rifle'', and ''Winchester/Trade Mark'' on left side; action has auto extraction and a knurled bolt knob; oil-stained gumwood halfstock with Schnabel-style tip has a scrolled triggerguard with finger-rest, a large knurled screw retaining action in the stock, and a checkered hard rubber buttplate with ''Winchester/Repeating Arms/Trade Mark'' in an oval. Condition is fine. Barrel, action and bolt retain approx. 90% original blue; triggerguard is gunmetal gray with scattered discoloration; markings are clear. Stock shows only light use marks; buttplate checkering is worn but logo is clear. Action functions; bore is bright with sharp rifling. (2) Model 58, NVSN, .22 RF cal., 18'' round barrel, with blade front and notched rear sights, marked with maker's name, address and 1898 patent date, ''Model 58 - 22 Short/Long and Long Rifle'', and ''Winchester/Trade Mark'' on left side; action has auto extraction and a knurled bolt knob; oil-stained gumwood halfstock has a loop triggerguard, a large knurled screw retaining action in the stock, and no buttplate. Condition is very good. Metal is overall gray (with likely some added blue finish) and scattered minor discoloration; clear markings. Stock is sound and smooth with lovely color.
