Lot of Three (3) Folding Knives, by French Knife Maker Jacques Mongin: 1.) Large ring lock folding knife, 5-5/8'' mirror polished stainless steel yatagan style blade and locking mechanism, one side of blade marked with ''JM'' logo, 7-1/4'' overall closed length, horn handle. Overall condition is excellent appearing as new, never carried or sharpened. 2.) Smaller ring lock folding knife, 3-5/8'' mirror polished stainless steel yatagan style blade and locking mechanism, one side of blade marked with ''JM'' logo, 4-3/8'' overall closed length, horn handle. This knife comes in a Stoddard's Cutlery box. Overall condition is excellent appearing as new, never carried or sharpened; handles with an attractive natural color and pattern with a few darker highlights. 3.) Two-blade folding knife, 3-1/8 mirror polished spear-point main blade, 2-1/4'' mirror polished spear point secondary blade, one side of the main blade marked with ''JM'' logo and the other side ''France'', 4'' overall closed length, sambar stag handles, with stainless bail. This knife comes in a Stoddard's Cutlery box. Condition overall is excellent appearing as new, never carried or sharpened. Each blade with a small spot of scratches/rub marks that appears to be from contact with the liners when the knife is opened and closed. Included with this lot is a copy of the French knife collecting magazine ''La Passion Des Couteaux'' that includes an article on Mongin knives. Est.: $400-$600/lot.
