Lot of Four (4) Bayonets with Scabbards: 1.) WWI Model 1917 by Remington, dated 1917, two-groove wood handle, 17'' blade, steel-tipped leather scabbard with belt hanger, and painted green finish. Condition is very good showing normal age and wear. Wood grips and metal parts show toning and some darkening. Maker's marks are clear. 2.) U.S. Model 1905 by RIA, dated 1918, 15-7/8'' blade, with the original grips, and canvas covered scabbard with leather tip that is stamped ''C.G.'' Back of canvas is stenciled in black ''G.R. FORESTER''. Condition is good with moderate wear to the cutting edge. Maker's marks are clear. Handle is dark with impressions and a few small flakes to the surface. Sheath shows moderate age and wear. 3.) Pattern 1907 by Wilkinson, dated 1916, 17'' blade, steel tipped leather scabbard with canvas frog; back is marked ''Margrovite 43''. Condition is very good overall showing normal moderate age and wear. Scabbard leather is dark with some light mildew staining, stitching is excellent. 4.) AK bayonet with steel scabbard and Bakelite handle. Condition is very good. Blade with some light oil remaining with a clean and sharp cutting edge. Bakelite shows handling marks. Est.: $300-$500/lot.
