Lot of Fourteen (14) Vintage Ethnic Daggers & Knives: 1-4.) All approximately 13 to 13.5" overall, with approx. 9.25" blades, lion's head pommels. Flare from ricasso with Kukri-style notches below that. Handles appear to be horn with leather-wrapped wooden scabbards with brass shapes; all made in India. 5-6.) Matching pair of Qama with intricately carved wooden handles and scabbards with brass fittings on both; 12" blades, 17.5" overall. Made in India. 7-8.) Carving set in Southeast Asian style with retention mechanism for scabbard. Knife and skewer pieces both have carved handles and scabbards with brass fittings. 9-10.) Brass-handled knife with 7.25" blade, brass handle; "Made in India" etched on blade with Devanagari script on reverse. Scabbard is composite wood with brass and velvet. 11.) Letter opener, approx. 8" overall, brass blade of exaggerated scimitar style. Pommel is also brass with a rubberized handle. Guard appears to be aluminum with "Dad," "Mom," and "Son" engraved. 12.) Knife or letter opener in Middle Eastern style. Cast brass handle and swept guard. Scabbard is composite construction with brass fittings over fabric and wood. 13.) Knife or letter opener, composite handle construction wood with brass fittings and swept brass guard, shell inlay on handle and chain knuckle bow. Etched blade reads "Pure Steel" on one side and "Victory" on reverse. Sheath is leather with brass fittings. 14.) Knife or letter opener, handle and scabbard inlaid with stones, with India stamped at base of scabbard. Both handle and scabbard of metal construction. Conditions range from good to very good.
