Lot of Six (6) British Bayonets, Scabbards, and Machetes: 1.) Rare WWI 1907 Pattern bayonet by Mole, 17" blade, marked "(Crown)/GR/1907/MOLE/1 17" Refinished and in good condition, as re-blued over old spots of pitting. British World War II scabbard is very good. Rare as the Robert Mole Co. made approx. 60,000 of these bayonets. 2.) Rare WWI 1907 Pattern bayonet by Vickers, 17" blade, marked "(Crown)/GR/1907/9 17/VICKERS", over stamped with a Canadian "(Broad Arrow)/C" property stamp and "94". Condition is fair with a dent to the blade edge, showing wear and use. British scabbard is in fair condition. Vickers Co. made approx.10,000 of these bayonets. 3.) Machete with scabbard, 14.9" blade marked "J.J.B/1945/(Broad Arrow)", black synthetic handle with copper rivets. In good condition with blade showing wear, sharpening, and patina. Green cotton scabbard is in very good condition. 4.) Machete, no scabbard, 18" blade, wooden handles, marked "MADE IN ENGLAND". In fair condition, showing age and wear. 5.) Australian scabbard for SMLE bayonet, missing chape on the bottom. In fair condition. 6.) Australian scabbard for Owen SMG, marked "MANGROVITE 44". Shows light storage wear. Est.: $400-$700/lot.
