Lot of Two (2) Military Rifles: 1) Soviet Model 1891/30 Mosin Nagant, #AB7192, 7.62x54R mm, 28.7'' barrel, blued finish, hardwood stock, hooded post front sight and adjustable tangent rear sight. Marked on barrel shank with a faint Soviet crest over ''1942'' and the symbol for the Izhevsk Arsenal. There is also an added refurbishment mark stamped below the crest. Mismatched numbers stamped on bolt and floorplate. No cleaning rod. Steel sling attachments have been added to sling slots. Condition overall is good with the metal retaining less than 20% finish, with most parts cleaned over old patina. Wood is good with bruises and scratches to the finish. Action is smooth, bore has darkening in the grooves with good rifling. Import stamped on right side of barrel. 2) Japanese Type 38 Arisaka Bolt Action, with school markings, #84, 6.5x 50mm, 30.5'' barrel, blued finish, hardwood stock, inverted ''V'' front sight and adjustable folding leaf rear sight. No markings except serial number are present on receiver. There are possible school markings present on the right side buttstock and a removed diamond-shaped plate. ''32'' is marked on the left side buttstock. Bolt handle is stamped with a matching number. Condition overall is poor with the metal retaining about 50% finish. Stock shows scuffs and gouges, otherwise good. Action does not function, bore is poor with darkening. This is a non-functioning rifle that is missing many parts, including the bolt components, handguard, and small parts. Barrel is loose in the receiver and turns freely. Est.: $300-$500/lot. (Both C&R)
