Lot of Two (2) WWII German Dress Bayonets: (1) Short military, by F. W. Holler, 12-1/2'' overall, 7-1/2'' plated blade, showing slight loss to plating near tip with surface scuffs from drawing but no corrosion; original leather washer is intact. Plated handle shows surface dulling to the plating with slight loss to the crossguard and near the mortise. Riveted grip panels are intact. Mortise button functions, mortise has red felt insert. Scabbard is undented showing original lacquer paint with scratches and some losses. (2) Fireman's bayonet, by E. Pack, Siegfried Waffen, 14-1/2'' overall, 9-1/2'' blade. Plated blade is in excellent condition with minor surface scratches and marks from drawing but no losses to the plating; leather washer is intact. Plated handle is in very good condition showing surface aging, one area of corrosion to the left side of the pommel, with riveted grip panels are intact. Scabbard is undented showing original lacquer paint surface with minor scratches and losses. Original unmarked frog is in wrinkled but solid condition. Est.: $150-$300/lot.
