Louisiana: Weekend Duck Hunt and Fishing for 2 Male Hunters
A founding member of the SCI Louisiana Chapter and founding member of the River Rest Duck Club near Myrtle Grove, Louisiana has donated a weekend duck hunt for two male hunters, which must be taken during the 2021/2022 duck season. The Proposed Season dates in Louisiana for the 2021/2022 season are as follows.
Ducks, Coots, Mergansers: November 20-December 5 and December 18-January 30;
Snow, Blue, Ross, White-Fronted, and Canada Geese: November 6-December 5 and December 18-January 30

The hunters will arrive on Friday afternoon. Myrtle Grove is located approximately 1-hour drive south of the New Orleans International Airport along the Mississippi River. The hunters will need to make their way down to Myrtle Grove on their own (rent a vehicle if you are flying in or drive your own vehicle if you live close enough). You will hunt Saturday morning, fish for redfish and largemouth bass Saturday afternoon, hunt Sunday morning, and depart after the Sunday morning hunt. This is not a commercial hunt, but a member hosting you and a friend to hunt their private club.

Included in the donation are accommodations and meals at River Rest Lodge. Not included is air fare to New Orleans or transportation to or from the airport. Hunters should bring their own shotguns, shells (waterfowl legal shells), their favorite fishing rods, an ice chest to bring home fish and ducks, Louisiana hunting licenses, and duck stamps.

River Rest Duck Club was established 21 years ago by 6 co-owners and their members include one past Ducks Unlimited president, three past State Chairmen, and 18 major sponsors of Ducks Unlimited. This is an incredible opportunity to hunt ducks on the famed Mississippi flyway in the heart of Louisiana duck hunting country. For more information contact Ron 985-637-7777 or Mark 504-235=8604.
