This auction item is for winning bidders choice of either a; 5-day, 1x1 guided Canadian Lynx hunt OR a 5-day, 1x1 guided black bear hunt for one hunter and one observer, in British Columbia with Stewart Fraser of Itcha Mountain Outfitters. Winning bidder will have the option of choosing one or the other of the Lynx or Black Bear Hunts. Incidental wolf may be harvested in encountered during Lynx or Bear Hunt. Trophy and tag included, CITES permit not included, must be obtained by hunter prior to exporting from Canada
Stewart Fraser of Itcha Mountain Outfitters invites one (1) hunter to British Columbia for a 5-day, 1x1 guided Canadian Lynx hunt. Method of take is rifle or bow. Itcha Mountain Outfitters offers this opportunity for one hunter to be accompanied by one non-hunter and to pursue the “shadow of the forest” – Canadian Lynx! Canadian Lynx is generally considered to be the prettiest, the rarest, and most difficult of the three North American wild cat species to harvest. The Lynx is North America's toughest cat to get, and that is the reason there are very few outfitters that hunt them. Hunting for Lynx is almost totally weather dependent. This hunt is conducted with dogs and predator calls, depending on weather conditions. Outfitter has had 100% success rate on this hunt over the past several years. This five-day hunt will take place near Nazko, British Columbia and is a 1x1 guided hunt. This hunt is scheduled for the winter of 2023/2024. Winter hunting season (dates start November 15 depending on snow conditions) and cannot be deferred to another year. This hunt may be upgraded to include additional hunters ($7,500),Whitetail Deer ($2,550) and/or mountain lion ($4,500 plus the cost of the tag). Hunter is responsible for transportation to and from Quesnel, British Columbia; license, tag, CITIES permit (total fees estimated at $1,100-1,200; and tips. Accommodations during this hunt will be a hunter’s cabin. Meals are provided in a main/cook lodge. In-door lavatories and showers are provided. Hunter should anticipate a one-night hotel stay (Approximately $250 per night) both prior to and after the hunt. Chapter members who have hunted cats with Itcha Mountain Outfitters report that this is a true winter, hunting adventure with a quality outfitter. Come follow the hounds in pursuit of a beautiful but elusive game species in the mountains west of Quesnel, British Columbia! . Included are accommodations, meals, 1x1 guide services, trophy fee for one Canadian Lynx. Does not include field prep, as this is done by a local taxidermist or gratuities to guides and staff.

This 5-day, 1x1 guided black bear hunt for one hunter and one observer is donated by Itcha Mountain Outfitters. Schedule hunt with outfitter for open dates May-June 2023 only. No alternate dates are available. Method of take is hunter's choice, excluding handguns. Itcha Mountain Outfitters is rich with three generations of family traditions. Their vast and wild hunting area begins in the Nazko Valley and rises up to the alpine slopes of the Itcha Mountains. This remote part of British Columbia is home to huge Canadian moose, a thriving herd of mountain caribou, mule deer, grizzly bear, monster black bear, lynx, cougar and timber wolves. Included are fully-equipped cabin accommodations, meals, firearm permit, trophy fee for one bear and field prep. Additional hunters are welcome for $7,500. Not included are any before/after hunt expenses, license/tag ($1,200) and dipping/packing and shipping, Caping & Field prep. Hunt may be upgraded include second bear for $2,500, Includes Trophy fee, but hunter must purchase a 2nd bear tag for$1,200. Arrival/departure point is Quesnel, B.C.
