Saddle is a complete conversion from a 1859 tree with a three or twelve-inch seat. Black Harness leather nailed over the rawhide M1859 seat. Includes fenders, sweat skirts, and other leather goods. The pommel coat and bed straps have been added. The Leavenworth Arsenal and Weir conversions of 1869 included 500 to be covered at the arsenal and 75 at Captain Weir's company. There is no way to determine if this is one of those saddles. The saddle has a modified M1859 civil war cincha. (SADDLE STAND NOT INCLUDED) $2,500-$4,000
