Pair of Russet Leather US Army russet leather boots that come above the ankle that was adopted in 1902. These were the type worn with the russet leather leggings and or the canvas M1902 leggings. These were worn with both the M1902 cavalry dress uniform and the wool and tan cotton uniforms. Original laces and inspection marks. Embossed on the bottom is "M.WALSH", "W.T.East St.Louis Depot" on the soles and "Vallier" on the heels. Manufactured by the Crown Shoe Co. Dated July 14, 1917. **Boots show some light wear with some scuff marks and light wear on the soles. Stitching is tight on leather and to the soles. Original laces are nice with the metal lace ends still intact. Overall in excellent condition***= $800-$1,200
