Cal. 303 British. S# AH12620. Bbl. 25 1/4" w/ integral bayonet lugs & front sight blade marked "S.M." & "-.013". Nose cap band w/ broad arrow & "S.126"; no stacking swivel. Target modified 2-13 rear sight having pivot shaft replaced w/ screw allowing windage adjustment. Outside left side of sight near base w/ beginning yardage markings plus variable aperture disk added; fully threaded elevation screw. Matching numbered bolt w/ no. 1 head. Trigger guard w/ lanyard loop at front; no swivel provision. Oiled finished stock set w/ walnut butt having brass buttplate marked "B" at heel; stained hardwood forend set. Olive drab colored canvas sling w/ brass ends & no markings. Mfg. 1943 w/ one piece serrated cross drilled safety. Reinforcement screw traversing forend just forward of receiver. Spike bayonet marked "FF" & additional marks appearing to end in "Ltd"; w/ knob ended sheath. MAGS: 1 very good unmarked brushed finished 10 rd. w/ near excellent follower marked "N.77". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: tan canvas carry case w/ brass ended sling neatly inked "J. & A. H. 1944" plus broad arrow; all appear unused. CONDITION: very good general appearance w/ stock set appearing refinished plus repair at heel & toe of buttstock. Very good sling. Good bayonet w/ scattered finish loss & light marks.
