MEASURE, 577-500 BP EXPRESS LOADING DIES, 2 BAYONETS, SOME PISTOL SLIDES & BBLS. & A CARTRIDGE BOX. 1) Unusual 22" tall black lacquered measure w/ brass label embossed “The Union Metallic Cartridge Co.” “STANDARD 3 DRAM” “BULK POWDER MEASURE” “BRIDGEPORT, CONN. USA”. Powder goes from top hopper into secondary hopper w/ bronze gate allowing powder to flow into cyl. containing 3 drams w/ top gate for cut off & bottom gate letting powder drop into cartridge case held under adj. funnel. Surplus powder is gathered in 8" x 10" cast iron pan/base. CONDITION: very good. Bronze funnel parts w/ chipping of black lacquer which remains at about 60%. Cast iron base w/ lacquer w/ considerable loss at edges. 2) Rare 577-500 BP Express 5 die set by RCBS for use in many Hollywood presses or others using the same thread size. Dies are 1 1/2" in diameter, consisting of form, trim, full length size, expanding, & seating dies w/ shell holder in dome lid box w/ hand painted picture of zebra on open Savannah. CONDITION: good plus. 3) Triangular socket bayonet. 17" Blade marked “287” “F.W. A” at base. CONDITION: good. 4) SMLE spike bayonet w/ scabbard. Marked “No 4. MKII”. CONDITION: good. 5) KR 98 Mauser bbl. w/ sights marked “AR 23281” at left rear. CONDITION: good, poor bore. 6) Black leather Frazier's patent cartridge box w/ "NJ" brass medallion on front (New Jersey National Guard). Also stamped “12 REGt” on inside. Made by McKENNY & CO. of New York. CONDITION: good. 7) 6 Pistol bbls. & 3 slides for Czech m24 pistol in .380. Markings on top rib. CONDITION: good, fine bores. 8) 3 Slides & 2 bbls. for CZ model 27 pistol in 7.65 (wartime production). CONDITION: good, 1 w/ top rib filed off. Fine bores. (02-14184-5/MGM). $400-800.
