Mike and Karen Helbing, NWTF Diamond Legacy Life Sponsors and owners of the Double Deuce Ranch in Missouri and owners of the Wild Wildebeest Lodge in South Africa, together with Zwei Herholdt, Outfitter and Professional Hunter, are donating a 3-night/3-day Missouri Adult Turkey Hunt with an additional option of a 5-day South African Safari. The total donation is valued up to $18,750.



The Missouri adult turkey hunt includes 3 nights/3 days of lodging, meals, and all beverages for 1 adult hunter. The hunt is for up 1 Eastern turkey. Also included in the donation is fishing and morel mushroom hunting. Additional hunters are welcome at a cost of $1750 per hunter. Additional observers are welcome at $150 per day. Not included in the donation is the hunting license (approximately $265), and gratuities. Hunt may be taken in the spring of 2024 or 2025 during the first week of the regular season. This is a semi-guided hunt.



The option of a South African Hunting Safari is for 2-6 hunters (2x1). Included are 5 days of daily rates (lodging, meals, and all beverages), and $1000 total toward trophy fees. Of the 5 days, 1 day will include an afternoon of bird hunting for dove, francolin, and guineafowl which will be cooked over a hot fire and served while in camp. If upgraded to 10 hunting days, an additional $2000 toward trophy fees will also be included. Not included in the donation is airfare to/from Johannesburg, day of arrival and day of departure, conservation fees, VAT (value added tax), dip and pack if taxidermy is done in the U.S., and gratuities. Hunt may be taken in 2024 or 2025. Non-hunters are welcome to join the group at the standard daily rate of $280 per day.



With the South Africa option, WWL Taxidermy in South Africa is offering up to a $500 credit per hunter toward taxidermy work done by their company -- applied as 10% on shoulder mounts and 10% on European mounts.



After your event, kindly forward to us the selling price as well as details of the winning bidder so we are able to make contact with them. Also, please provide them with our contact information below. They may call at any time or come to our ranch for dinner prior to the hunt to go over details and ask any questions they may have. We will also be having some open houses next January/February throughout the U.S. Details will be determined at a later date.

The Outfitter/Safari Operator may require an additional deposit to hold hunting dates once they are confirmed. The deposit may be used for additional days, trophy fees, or expenses you incur with the hunt. The deposit may not be returned in the event of a cancellation; however, it may be carried over if rescheduling is necessary. Hunt dates are the responsibility of the hunter and the Outfitter/Safari Operator and are handled between those two parties.
